Vanessa Holliday is an independent Australian surface designer based in the countryside near Melbourne.

Her style is contemporary Australian, inspired by the crazy beautiful shapes and colours of native Australian plants, birds and wildlife. Her unique style mixes vibrant colour with delicate line work to create contemporary patterns with intricate and unexpected details.

Vanessa’s designs are created from ink and pen drawings that are developed into a final design in the digital environment.

Vanessa has worked with leading Australian fabric brands Spotlight Australia and Nerida Hansen Fabrics, as well as collaborating with a number of businesses on specific design projects for fashion and homewares.
